The floral seduction of a velvety and silky Vanilla Orchid
The artisanal glassmaker crafted this new Poison bottle with generous shapes and transparency, revealing luminous femininity with magnetic seduction.
François Demachy, Dior’s Perfumer-Creator, drew inspiration from the original Orchid to interpret Hypnotic Poison in a bewitching floral variation: Eau Sensuelle. Orange Blossom and Vanilla add a fruity, floral touch that gives the fragrance a sweet and unforgettable trail.
ESSENCE OF YLANG-YLANG FROM MAYOTTE
Grown in the Comoros archipelago, fresh ylang-ylang flowers are steam distilled to obtain the essence used by perfumers in a number of fragrances. Ylang-ylang offers elegance, volume and originality as the top note of Hypnotique Poison Eau Sensuelle.
The flowers of the bitter orange tree are extracted to obtain orange blossom absolute. The essence of the Neroli flower is obtained by distillation. Often used in oriental-scented fragrances, orange blossom also emphasizes certain fruity notes in floral fragrances. Its opulence features as the heart note of Hypnotique Poison Eau Sensuelle.
The white vanilla flowers produce a fruit that ripens in 8 to 9 months. Vanilla beans are harvested just before they are ripe and undergo a ripening process for 34 months. Their fragrance develops and vanilla crystals form to unfold vanilla's sweet and spicy accords. This serene, sensual scent is featured as a base note in Hypnotic Poison Eau Seneuelle Eau de Toilette.
