    A delicately woody freshness

    Description

Escale à Parati is a journey to the heart of the finest ingredients from South America, specially selected by the House of Dior. A composition that unleashes the aromatic scent of Brazilian Rosewood, combined with fresh Petitgrain from Paraguay and Lemon from Argentina over a Venezuelan Tonka Bean base.

    Perfumer's words

When the House of Dior creates a fragrance, the journey goes beyond mere evocation: sourcing of raw materials also provides the opportunity to meet new cultures, and forge lasting, preferential relationships with local producers who make it possible for us to work with exceptional, top-quality ingredients.

      OLFACTORY NOTES

      • Top notePETITGRAIN ESSENCE

Grown in Paraguay, Petitgrain is obtained by distilling the leaves and branches of the bitter orange tree. It is used as a base for colognes. Fresh, green and invigorating with a hint of bitterness, Petitgrain displays its floral tones as Escale à Parati's top note.

      • Heart noteROSEWOOD

Native to Amazonia, Rosewood oil is obtained by distilling the wood from the tree. Aromatic and finely woody, it reveals a vegetal freshness.

      • Base noteTONKA BEAN

Tonka bean is native to Venezuela, Guyana and Brazil. It is harvested on the tree, dried and then reduced to a powder. The solid perfume or absolute is then obtained. Intense and textured, it unfolds its soft and warm aromas as Escale à Parati's base note.
