Absolute femininity in a floral bouquet
J’adore is the fragrance of flowers that bloom with absolute femininity. For the Extrait de Parfum, François Demachy wanted to give dense and dazzling expression to the primary accord. Seeking an extreme concentration, he composed a generous and intense bouquet of flowers that work in a beautiful harmony. Using ingredients with character like Rose de Mai Absolute, Damascus Rose Absolute, Jasmine Sambac Absolute and Ylang-Ylang Essence.
The J’adore bottle is a modern expression of the amphora Christian Dior chose for his first olfactory creations. Made entirely of glass, each bottle is hand-gilded with fine gold, sealed with a baudruche film, tightly wrapped with gold thread, and affixed with the Dior seal.
YLANG-YLANG ESSENCE FROM THE COMORO ISLAND
Grown in the Comoro Islands, fresh Ylang-Ylang blossoms are steam-distilled to obtain an essence used in perfumery for the composition of numerous fragrances. Ylang-Ylang blends well with the various floral notes and lends elegance, volume and originality to the composition. It unfurls its emotion-filled bouquet in the top note of J'adore Extrait de Parfum.
ROSE DE MAI ABSOLUTE
Grown in Grasse, the Centifolia Rose, or "hundred-petalled rose", is used to produce an extract, which will become an absolute. Delicate, powerful, the Centifolia Rose can evoke mimosa.
JASMINE SAMBAC ABSOLUTE
A symbol of feminine softness, Jasmine is one of the flowers used the most in perfumery. Its delicate scent makes it a fragrance all on its own. As a base note of J'adore Extrait de Parfum, it deploys an intense floral aroma.
