The vision of a modern, intoxicating Orient
The young Christian Dior was amazed to discover, far from his country, the profusion of shimmering colours and intoxicating scents of the Orient. It was an extremely sensorial world, which he remembered, once he had become a Couturier-Perfumer and enjoyed using richly embroidered fabrics and composing exceptional perfumes.
Knowledgeable from Christian Dior's fascination with a fantastical Orient, François Demachy has now created a unique fragrance. An ode to Oud blended with Labdanum Absolute, Oud Ispahan elegantly affirms its oriental identity.
Labdanum Absolute comes from the rubber of the Mediterranean Cistus shrub.
Filled with heady, oriental shades of nature, this Absolute has an amber facet with more honey and sugar tones than animal Amber, and provides sensual notes that are emphasized by the woody strength of Oud.
THE LAOTIAN OUD WOOD AND ROSA DAMASCENA ESSENCES ACCORD
Oud Ispahan invites Rosa Damascena Essence to an enchanted evening. Spicy and full of character, the Rose of Damascus is the key flower in Haute Perfumery. Subtle though highly scented, its luminosity and tenderness combines with the woody strength of Oud and the evocative power of Labdanum Absolute.
NEW CALEDONIAN SANDALWOOD ESSENCE
Appreciated by perfumers for its warm, balsamic notes, sandalwood adds fullness and sensuality to scent creations.
