As a pioneer in ethnobotany for over 20 years, Dior selects rare and powerful plant resources from its own dedicated plots of land throughout the world: Garden of Surkhan-Darya in Uzbekistan, Gardens of Morovoay and of Ramafan in Madagascar, Gardens of Brittany, of Drôme, of Anjou and of Yquem in France.
Thanks to its unique know-how, Dior science extracts only the purest, most effective fraction of each plant. Its team of 10 ethnobotanists explores plant biodiversity and identifies tomorrow’s cosmetic ingredients : the plants with maximum youth potential for the skin.
Three steps are required to develop a Dior Garden ingredient : the selection by sifting plants, the identification of the area in which the plant develops its most exceptional properties, the definition of a precise charter to guarantee the perfect reproducibility of the extracts.
