A Chypre Exception
When he created Miss Dior in 1947, Christian Dior inaugurated the history of Dior Haute Parfumerie. This original, green chypre was a scent revolution that made its mark.

Today, Miss Dior requires the same rich, high-quality, exceptional raw materials as its illustrious elder sibling. The modern chypre signature of the Miss Dior family created by François Demachy, Dior's Perfume Creator, favours the citrus element of Italian Mandarin Essence, where the original Miss Dior created surprise with the green note of Galbanum. This opening combines with a floral heart note based on Egyptian Jasmine Absolute, before concluding sensually around Indonesian Patchouli Essence.
