MONSIEUR DIOR'S IRISES
With this silk square, Dior opens a new chapter in the history of Monsieur Dior. This motif speaks of Christian Dior's passion for flowers and taste for illustration, having worked as a designer before becoming a couturier. From this bouquet of flowers on a blue background is detached the letter I for Iris in reference to the little dictionary of fashion written by Christian Dior in the 1950s. A charming detail left by the designer: a trompe-l'oeil label lends its signature to this silk square. It can also be reinvented by multiplying the number of folds and changing the direction of wear.
100% silk twill.
