The House of Dior chose the Ullens Center for Contemporary Art (UCCA) in Beijing as the place to create a dialogue between Dior and artists from the contemporary Chinese art scene. Dior and UCCA co-wrote an original and unchronological script, interweaving the history of the House of Dior with the more recent artistic period, in all its dazzling intensity, in contemporary China.

This meeting between Dior and UCCA gave rise to an unusual and ambitious exhibition on art and fashion, where around one hundred haute couture designs were juxtaposed with bespoke contemporary Chinese works of art, with the hope of continuing this dialogue between Dior and these artists, so dear to the great couturier.
