It's a precious conversation where Victoire de Castellane and Christian Dior coincide, a color-drenched dialogue between couture and jewellery. Today, a new campaign showcases this passionate exchange that is the collection Cher Dior .
A close-up on an emerald's endless nuances: its sparkling color fascinates, its facets shine like a thousand stars. But the eye is already drawn elsewhere, captivated by the fire of the diamonds, the precious hues of the yellow, pink and violet sapphires, the twinkling of garnets and Paraïba tourmalines. In this new campaign, the rings from the Cher Dior collection glimmer like fireworks, with an ode to color in which the precious stones contrast and correspond, match and clash.
"Color is what gives jewels their worth. They light up and enhance the face" , Christian Dior stated in 1956. With Cher Dior , Victoire de Castellane conceives a response to the couturier's assertion. It is an inspired and passionate response, one that the designer initiates with an intimate tone – Cher Dior… – and pursues with her own language, translating the vocabulary of couture into jewels, and asserting her own poetic and contemporary art of color.
