Eyes, complexion, lips… We bring you a breakdown of the details from the first beauty look imagined by Peter Philips, the new Creative and Image Director of Dior make-up, for the cruise 2015 collection.
This is a natural and infinitely feminine beauty. In her flowing dress, the Dior woman strides out full of self-assurance. Her gaze is striking. Like a black thread structuring the eyes, a first sweep of eyeliner extending to the outside of the upper eyelid sets off a second that starts halfway along the lower lid. Lashes are lapped with a black mascara and the eyebrows redrawn with pencil to be subtly blurred. The eyes have become graphic and sophisticated. The complexion is even, fresh and bright, with only the cheekbones structured with a light pink blush also applied to the chin to frame the face. Acting as a highlight, the natural mouth is magnified by a discreet greige color and the nails delicately dressed in a soft pink. In line with this elegant look, hair falls freely and simply to the shoulders. It's that same freedom that animates the clothes in this cruise 2015 collection.
