For Christmas, the most radiant of Dior perfumes is getting an extraordinary bottle, a pure haute joaillerie creation.
Discover the precious sensuality of J’adore through this solid gold, crystal and sparkling diamond jewel, produced in a limited edition displaying a unique savoir-faire.
"Real luxury requires the best materials and the sincerity of the craftsman. It has meaning only if its roots are growing in real traditions ," Christian Dior wrote in his autobiography. In homage to the couturier-perfumer, for whom the excellence of haute couture and the savoir-faire of perfumery were indelibly linked, the essence of the perfume J’adore L’Or is encased by an extraordinary bottle in the manner of a bejeweled dress. For this limited edition of only five, the iconic J’adore amphora, inspired by the house's first perfume bottles and the sensual curves of the New Look , is revisited in the most precious materials that there are. Each crystal bottle is hand blown by one of the Meilleurs Ouvriers de France (nationally distinguished craftspeople) from the Baccarat workshop, perpetuating the close ties that have linked the house of Dior to the prestigious crystal maker since 1947.
Each piece requires countless tries to be perfect; each is unique. The neck of the crystal amphora is then adorned with an exceptional Maasai-inspired stopper in gold set with one hundred and thirty eight diamonds, and crafted by hand by the artisans in the house's haute joaillerie ateliers. Contained within a leather jewel box, this edition of J’adore L’Or is a rare gem. Its precious bottle holds the perfume essence created by François Demachy, Dior's exclusive perfumer-creator, using the noblest of raw materials. Centifolia rose, jasmine from Grasse, Tahitian vanilla and tonka beans come together in a fragrance with oriental notes, scenting a woman's wake with sensual richness.
