06.12 ВСЕ О DIOR

On the occasion of the Dior Homme store opening in Miami, Bruce Weber exclusively presents Can I make the music fly? We bring you an extract from the film.

It's in Miami, and more specifically the design district, that Dior Homme is opening its newest store. With clean, architectural lines, its sense of order and balance, pitch-perfect materials, and a timeless elegance, the whole corresponds seamlessly to the sharp purity of the collections by Kris Van Assche, and serves to make of the space a unique shopping experience. Drawing on the overlap between art and fashion, Bruce Weber unveils a film specially conceived for the store:  Can I make the music fly?   As a great admirer of his photographic oeuvre, Kris Van Assche gave Weber carte blanche to express his own vision of the Dior Homme universe. "It's incredibly interesting for me to witness the artistic reinterpretation of my work," the creative director explains.

English violinist Charlie Siem, the pianist Mason Buccheri, and the 12-year-old violin prodigy Claudius Agrippa, are the film's musical stars, joined from the world of ballet by the fêted Ukrainian dancer Sergei Polunin. Together, they revisit  Clair de Lune   by Claude Debussy,  Tzigane   by Maurice Ravel, and a jazz work by Howard Brubeck. Today, we're offering you the Debussy sequence.
