Wild Earth

The Wild Earth collection by Peter Philips celebrates a luminous, sophisticated beauty.

At the heart of the beauty look created by Dior’s Director of Creation and Image for makeup, the iconic lip ink Dior Lip Tattoo offers the sensation of fresh, nude lips subtly tattooed in earth tones. This luminosity is likewise found in the limited edition Diorskin Mineral Nude Bronze. Its silver-finish compact conceals an artisanal motif that mimics hammered copper, enriched with golden-hued mineral powders that illuminate the skin with a matte veil with a natural finish or powerful radiance.

Sun-kissed and sensual, the eyes take on warm tones thanks to the iconic 5 Couleurs Sienna. This palette, with metal-like embossing, reveals brown, caramel and Sienna earth tones, illuminated by a golden vanilla shade. Inspired by the ritual of kohl eyeliner that dates to Antiquity, the very first dual-end eyeliner and kohl by Peter Philips, Diorshow In & Out Eyeliner, brings together matte brown on the eyelid and an iridescent bronze at the inner corner of the eye, for a tribal-inspired look.

As a final touch to the Wild Earth look, the Sun Glow top coat may be applied alone or as a top coat to reinforce the iridescent effect of Blue Drop nail polish. An intense polish inspired by the reflection of the sun’s rays, that protects the nails from the aggressions of chlorine, seawater and sand.

Summer Look

For summer, Peter Philips, the Director of Creation and Image for Dior Makeup,  dreamed up Wild Earth, a beauty look in luminous shades of earth, bronze and gold.

Air that vibrates in the desert heat, dunes with golden reflections as the sun reaches its zenith and sensual earth-toned landscapes inspired Peter Philips to create a searing summer beauty look. This collection, embodied by the model Ruth Bell, celebrates a hedonistic femininity — skin tattoed with bronze and curcuma golds, and a smoldering gaze highlighted by a deep, mysterious blue.

This textured, highly pigmented palette reveals the simultaneously raw and sophisticated tonalities of the earth and all the power of glow. “Warm colors that are easy to wear and perfect for the summer,”  notes the Director of Creation and Image for Dior Makeup.
