Dior Homme Sport: The Fragrance
We take a look at the fresh and spicy composition of the new Dior Homme Sport, developed by the House's exclusive perfumer-creator, François Demachy.

"The new Dior Homme Sport is a story that starts strong and fast and doesn’t let go. A racing car that bursts forth and makes the lively pleasure last," says the House's exclusive perfumer-creator. And with good reason: as a top note, citrus immediately set the tone for this composition’s powerful and fruity freshness. Juicy blood orange encounters a citron essence with zesty nuances and a touch of grapefruit, while a pear extract lends a sweetness to these sharp notes. Then the aromatic-spicy signature of the Dior Homme fragrances quickly unfolds, underlined with an elemi note, a lemony incense. The freshness of the whole seems to last indefinitely, supported by the notes of pink berries and nutmeg. Lifted with a hint of discreet but incisive geranium, these head notes interact with a woody background of Haitian vetiver and sandalwood. "I brought a newness to Dior Homme Sport by enlivening it with bracing notes that are fruity in the extreme. They are of a volatile nature, so I have extended them by propping them up with other notes to create a trompe-l'oeil freshness. This fresh and arresting wind is laden with spices. It's a beginning without an end," François Demachy concludes.
