Dior Maison unveils La Vague, a unique collection by Cordelia de Castellane, offering a series of creations for the home inspired by a John Galliano coat designed for the Dior Spring-Summer 2007 Haute Couture line and elevated by a motif based on the Great Wave off Kanagawa. An ode to the sincere friendship uniting Dior and Japan — a passion cultivated very early on by Christian Dior* — the designs feature prints recalling the beauty and power of the ocean. Vibrant shades of blue embellish a selection of dishes, trays, glassware and table linens. A series of decorative objects, including Murano glass fish, complete this escape along the Japanese coastline. The exceptional collection reflects an eternal love for world art and cultures.
