Marrakesh Collection

  • Inspired by the unprecedented cultural dialogue between Dior and Morocco – as celebrated by Maria Grazia Chiuri in her 2020 Cruise show - the Marrakesh collection designed by Cordelia de Castellane is an invitation to travel to the heart of the sumptuous palaces of El Badi, also known as “the Incomparable”, and Bahia, “the Brilliant”, as well as a tribute to the exceptional savoir-faire and the priceless richness of Moroccan craftsmanship. The art of the table - in French faïence earthenware - mingles with hand-painted home linens and decorative objects, such as heavenly ceramics designed in collaboration with the artist Anne Agbadou-Masson, reflecting her mixed origins.

Dior Maison x Anne Agbadou-Masson

  • The meeting of cultures — a major inspiration behind the House’s 2020 Cruise collection — is at the heart of a new collaboration by Dior Maison featuring guest artist, Anne Agbadou-Masson. The ceramicist, who has a passion for working with clay, creates sculptures in sandstone, porcelain, and earthenware in her Paris ateliers. For Dior, and as a tribute to Marrakesh, the magical location for the show by Maria Grazia Chiuri, she created 25 vases imbued with the aura and colors of Morocco. Made of raw materials with subtle hues often enhanced by pearly glazing, her works evoke feminine icons with graceful curves or mysterious marine creatures. Discover the creative process behind these one-of-a-kind pieces, crafted entirely by hand and embodying excellence in contemporary craftsmanship and savoir-faire.
