NAME
Created to be a good luck charm, Lucky is the fragrance of good luck, echoing the history between the house of Dior and Lily-of-the-Valley.
WORDS FROM DIOR PERFUMER-CREATOR FRANÇOIS DEMACHY
"Christian Dior was very superstitious and would stitch a sprig of Lily-of-the-Valley into the hem of his dresses for good luck. I wanted to represent the perfume of this hidden Lily-of-the-Valley, sewn into meters of silk, with a profusion of white flowers and freshness. The scent of his favorite flower gradually reveals itself. Lucky is a good luck charm and the fragrance to wear whenever you want to cross your fingers."

In red, green and blue, a sublime collection of animals stalks across the usually white covers of the Maison Christian Dior fragrances.
Colours shimmer and pop, while refined illustrations charm and intrigue the eye. So which, then, are the scents in the boisterous Maison Christian Dior family that dare to joyfully dress in such finery?
Three star signatures convey three unique fragrant emotions, composed by François Demachy, Dior Perfumer-Creator, as contrasting, facetted and fascinating lands of inspiration.
For Lucky, the good-luck charm with lily of the valley-white flower accords that are a fresh celebration of Christian Dior’s legendary superstition, lucky green was the obvious choice.
Adored by the court of Versailles, the material produced in Jouy-en-Josas, covered absolutely everything in the first Dior boutique at 30, avenue Montaigne in 1947. In 2016, Maria Grazia Chiuri successfully gave it a modern take in her collections. It is now up to Maison Christian Dior to celebrate this motif that has become iconic.
