The savoir-faire of the New Lily of the Valley and Lucky Milly collections

“Having inherited my mother’s passion for flowers, I enjoyed the company of plants and gardeners above all,” Christian Dior confided in his memoirs.

Adorned with drawings of lily of the valley – one of the founding couturier’s lucky charms – the New Lily of the Valley line of tableware is enriched with new handmade wicker items, such as placemats, baskets, frames and boxes, along with porcelain plates, and decorative glass pieces mouth-blown in Italy. Craftsmanship of the highest quality so dear to Dior, to be discovered in pictures.

New: Lucky Milly

Continuing this springtime journey, Dior Maison is unveiling, for the first time, a collection of gardening accessories, entitled Lucky Milly. This series of exclusive creations, designed by Cordelia de Castellane, draws its inspiration from nature, as a tribute to Monsieur Dior’s passion for flowers. A fascination that the designer has had since childhood, reminding him of tender moments spent in the rose garden in Granville, alongside his mother.

Echoing these rural memories, shamrocks gracefully decorate an apron, gloves, tools and pots. Emblazoned with the handwritten “Christian Dior” signature, these accessories are adorned with lush shades of vibrant green, white and ochre. An elegant interpretation of botany.
