DIOR JOINS FORCES WITH VENETIAN HERITAGE

  • Alongside Venetian Heritage, the House organized a unique gala dinner on April 23, 2022, in the heart of Venice’s Teatro La Fenice.

Held on the occasion of the Biennale Arte 2022 in Venice, this charity event intended to benefit the preservation and promotion of the Venetian cultural legacy and in particular the restoration of Ca’ d’Oro Museum and pay tribute to the passion for cultural dialogue that is so dear to the House. In view of the current upheavals that the world is facing, a portion of the funds raised will be donated to Ukrainian refugees in Italy.

“The history of the House has always been closely linked to that of the art world. This fascination, sparked by Christian Dior, nourishes our imagination, inspires us every day to spread our passion for culture. This benefit evening, which is especially dear to us – and at time when it strikes us as essential to help the Ukrainian refugees in Italy – once again expressed the unwavering friendship between Dior and Venetian Heritage, an exceptional, committed, and emblematic partner,” stated Pietro Beccari, Chairman and CEO of Christian Dior Couture.

Dior’s beloved art de vivre shines at the Teatro La Fenice

Organized alongside the Venetian Heritage foundation, Dior hosted a gala dinner at the Teatro La Fenice. The charity event was in collaboration with Jesurum, a Venetian atelier founded in 1870 that specializes in exceptional linens for the home. Celebrating Christian Dior’s beloved art de vivre, delicate tablecloths and napkins in linen embroidered with exclusive lace subtly reveal 'CD' initials. These exquisite pieces are hand-crafted by Italian couturiers on the Venetian island of Burano, according to time-honored tradition, thus perpetuating an ancestral savoir-faire like no other.
