Rose des Vents
Story Of An Icon
Dreamed up in 2015 by the Artistic Director of Dior Joaillerie, the Rose des vents collection is celebrating its tenth anniversary. Ten years of passion and audacity, inviting us to a poetic immersion in the House's heritage wherever the winds have blown.

The Origins
It all began in Granville, at the villa Les Rhumbs, Christian Dior's childhood home set on the cliffs of Normandy facing the sea. In its garden, where he loved to admire the moving beauty of flowers, a captivating marine symbol indicating the cardinal points could be seen: a compass rose, made entirely of mosaic.
A marvelous inspiration, which Victoire de Castellane showcases and reinterprets in her Rose des vents creations and their various reinventions. A collection of infinitely refined medallions, conceived as a fabulous journey and homage.

Victoire de Castellane: Artistic Director
Since 1999, Victoire de Castellane has been bringing her rich imagination to the House's heritage in order to conceive unique jewelry collections. In an eternal dialogue between past, present and future, she sketches a new creative vocabulary that stretches the limits of excellence.

"The compass rose immediately imposes a very pretty notion of a voyage, and for me, creating a piece of jewelry or a work of art means pursuing something to the end, like the wind, it is about elsewhere, the guide that shows the way”, Victoire de Castellane
