Chef Anne-Sophie Pic
An emblematic figure in French gastronomy, Anne-Sophie Pic is renowned for her delicate and bold cuisine, characterised by its distinctive aromatic complexity. Guided by her philosophy of 'Imprégnation', she conceives dishes that explore the interweaving of textures and the combination of flavours, which she enhances with a wide-ranging selection of wines. Constantly seeking new associations for her restaurants around the world, it is at the Pic Lab – her centre for culinary research and innovation in Valence – that she and her teams explore the full fragrant diversity of each region's produce, placing plants at the heart of her approach. Her iconic creations, such as the Berlingots ASP© and the Millefeuille blanc, embody this quest for harmony.
At the convergence of cultures, Anne-Sophie Pic draws inspiration from her travels, encounters and exchanges, driven by the values dear to her: generosity, creativity and transmission. Her collaboration with the House of Dior illustrates this dialogue between the arts and gastronomy. The chef immersed herself in the archives to bring to menus life that reflect the Maison's identity, revisited through the lens of Japanese culture. A poetic journey of the senses.
Distinguished by three Michelin stars for her Restaurant Pic since 2007, she perpetuates her family's legacy of three-starred chefs and is now the most highly-starred female chef in the world.
