Chef Enrico Bartolini
An emblematic figure of gastronomy and the most Michelin-starred Italian chef in the world, Enrico Bartolini is renowned for the authenticity of his cuisine, driven by a deep respect for the ingredients and a constant desire to enhance them. Born in Tuscany, he trained in Paris and London prior to returning to Italy, where he has developed projects that are both ambitious and innovative. With his penchant for surprise, Enrico Bartolini reinterprets the great Italian classics with modernity, precision and lightness. The presentation of his dishes creates sensorial journeys where colours, flavours and textures interact with one another.
Tasting, exploring, conceiving, failing, perfecting: each stage of his creative process shapes a culinary expression in permanent evolution, nourished by unwavering curiosity and a passion that knows no bounds. Experimentation in the service of emotion, where heritage and innovation merge. His collaboration with Dior illustrates this work of perpetual reinvention. At the Monsieur Dior restaurant within the House of Dior Milan, the chef brings the Dior codes to life through a tailor-made menu exalting all the richness of Italian cuisine.
In 2016, Enrico Bartolini became the first and only chef to be awarded four Michelin stars simultaneously. Two of these were for his eponymous restaurant in Milan, which was given a third in 2019 and remains, to this day, the city's only three-star restaurant. The chef is currently at the helm of fifteen gastronomic restaurants.
