Bobby: a name dear to Christian Dior, for it belonged to his four-legged friend with whom he loved to walk the flowery paths of his garden. In a tender and playful show of affection, the Couturier-Perfumer regularly named his haute couture designs after his dog, Bobby. Echoing the first Bobby bottle designed in 1952, the House of Dior pays tribute to Christian Dior’s faithful companion with this joyful, tender creation. Bringing together visual and olfactory delight, Bobby contains the fresh, floral notes of Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet. Each bottle required 15 hours of meticulous work. Bobby, who is sitting up proudly on his back legs, wears a medallion engraved with the original inscription “I belong to Miss Dior.” His bow is carefully embroidered with a flurry of springtime floral hues that echo the patterns created by Maria Grazia Chiuri, Artistic Director of Dior Couture. The bottle is nestled in a beautiful case decorated with multicolored flowers. At the heart of this charming display, Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet reveals a fragrance that combines the citrus notes of bergamot with an accord of peony and Damascus rose. Notes of white musks wrap the composition in an enveloping softness.
