Winter 2026-2027 Show

This season, the play on history and affluence established in Jonathan Anderson’s Summer 2026 collection evolves, absorbed into a new set of influences.

The Dior aristo-youth move through Paris like modern-day flâneurs, forming new stylistic connections. Joy and spontaneity guide their choices, expressed through spiky yellow hair, embroidered epaulettes and an air of eclectic opulence.

Seemingly contradictory ideas are woven together: the codes of formality, Dior signatures, echoes of legendary couturier Paul Poiret, alongside denim and parkas. Style becomes a dialogue, approached with empathy and élan.

Tailoring is slender and precise, with elongated jackets, mercilessly shrunken blazers, tailcoats, cropped Bar jackets, and lean trousers. Outerwear fuses the technical and the opulent – the pragmatic and the dramatic – through bombers that flow into brocade capes, balloon-back field jackets, and cocooning coats. The masculine and feminine divide is joyfully blurred, playing between full dress and hints of undress: suits, lavallière shirts, waistcoats, and long johns worn in place of trousers.

Donegal tweeds, lustrous velvets, luminous jacquards, glistening embroideries, dense fringing and passementerie build a richly tactile narrative, while the palette remains somber and refined.

Dressing becomes a game of unbridled associations, where unlikely elements meet and heritage collides with the contemporary in effortless harmony.

The Set

Set within the gardens of the Musée Rodin, the show space played with perception, exploring the boundaries between interior and exterior. Guests encountered a box entirely enveloped in a curtain, which continued within the space itself. The effect suggested the experience of entering something precious, heightening the sense of enclosure and focus.

Savoir-faire

Taut tailoring and exaggerated volumes elevated with rich embellishments, specially developed fabrics and plush shearling.

"Once again, I looked to the past to shape the future, this time with a greater sense of playfulness and the unexpected." - Jonathan Anderson
