description

Designed by Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup, the Dior Backstage Eye Palette is the Dior makeup artists' secret weapon for achieving makeup looks from the most natural to the most intense, while ensuring a long-wear finish.

Inspired by the energy backstage at the Dior runway shows, this makeup palette combines 9 ultra-pigmented, easy-to-blend eyeshadows with matte, pearlescent, metallic, holographic and glittery finishes. Each harmony is the interpretation of a color theme, available in complementary shades to achieve a multitude of looks.

To apply the eyeshadows with a brush, use a Dior Backstage eyeshadow brush: shader brush No. 21 or blending brush No. 22 or No. 23.

Benefits

Long-wearing and richly pigmented, the eyeshadows in the Dior Backstage palette provide buildable intensity and blend seamlessly with the skin without migrating into the eyelid crease.

Formula

Easy-to-blend eyeshadows.

Shades

Dior Backstage Eye Palette is available in several harmonies: universal, timeless and limited editions inspired by the latest trends from the Dior runway shows. The palette harmonies come in a wide range of hues to suit different skin tones.

Inspiration

"In addition to the 8 shades with different finishes, I wanted a primer with a nice creamy texture. It provides a long-lasting effect, but more importantly, it intensifies the result of the color that will be applied over it,” explains Peter Philips, Creative and Image Director for Dior Makeup.

Peter Philips’s Tips

Used alone or together, applied with the fingers or a brush, these pigmented eyeshadows allow you to create a multitude of makeup looks: natural or dressed up, subtle or more intense.

To apply the eyeshadows, use the Dior Backstage brushes: an eyeshadow brush (No. 21, No. 22 or No. 23) for an even result with intense color or an eyeliner brush (No. 24) for greater precision along the lash line.

Application Tips

For a simple and natural look:
1. Apply a bolder shade across the entire mobile eyelid to open up the eyes, and then a darker shade along the lash line for definition.
2. Highlight by applying a lighter shade beneath the brow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to widen the eyes.

For a bold look:
1. Apply a bolder shade across the entire mobile eyelid to open up the eyes, and then a darker shade along the lash line for definition.
2. Blend over the entire mobile eyelid and outward.
3. Highlight with a lighter shade beneath the brow arch and at the inner corner of the eye to create even greater contrast to structure the eyes.
