The Savoir-faire of Osanna Visconti
The collection dreamed up by Osanna Visconti for Dior Maison reflects the convergence of two shared passions. On the one hand, a fascination with botany and its infinite poetry, cultivated by Christian Dior since childhood, from the lush rose gardens of Granville to the Provencal gardens of La Colle Noire. And on the other, the Milanese artist's love of nature and its vital force.
For Dior, she has designed a series of decorative bronze objects, the fruit of symbiosis between different savoir-faire of exception: the creations are handcrafted using the lost-wax casting process - a technique chosen by the greatest sculptors, from Rodin to Camille Claudel -, that employs the imprint into which the molten metal is poured.
Available in limited editions in selected Dior boutiques, these objects of desire celebrate the art of detail so dear to the House.
