The Dior Stockholm Boutique
An exceptional new boutique on the famous Birger Jarlsgatan avenue

The façade is adorned with the cannage pattern – an emblematic code – creating subtle effects of depth and transparency.
Blending heritage with contemporary refinement, this unique, light-filled space is enhanced by Versailles parquet flooring reminiscent of that found at 30 Montaigne – the House's historic address – and punctuated with bold, sophisticated designer furniture.
Inviting visitors to linger, the space is dotted with works by Swedish artists such as Carin Ellberg and Olivia Pettersson as well as an installation in porcelain by Valeria Nascimento – a tribute to Christian Dior, who was a gallery owner and collector.
Spread over two floors, this exceptional location showcases the cruise 2026 models, which dialogue with certain timeless accessories – from the Lady Dior to the Dior Toujours – and Dior jewelry creations, notably the Rose des Vents line. It also presents the Dior Icons neo-wardrobe for men, an expression of discreet luxury.
A celebration of excellence and the magic of dreams.
Dior and Sweden
Since it was first founded, the House of Dior has nurtured a special relationship with Sweden, the northern kingdom with a fascinating charm. From Christian Dior's second collection in 1947, Swedish clients were invited to his shows, where they discovered and ordered his creations
Between 1951 and 1965, Sweden inspired several lines: evening dresses and ensembles drew from its refinement, colors, and name. A deep tie was forged between Parisian couture and Swedish elegance.

The Märthaskolan haute couture school in Stockholm notably established close connections with the House. Its “French” department obtained permission to reproduce certain original models by Monsieur Dior. In 1957, the institution presented the couturier with a globe – a symbol of the fruitful exchanges and relationship uniting French excellence and Swedish tradition. The same year, Dior organized its first défilé in Sweden, at the mayor of Stockholm’s home, to celebrate its tenth anniversary.
In April 1972, under the creative direction of Marc Bohan, Dior presented its spring collections, both haute couture and ready-to-wear, in Stockholm and then in Malmö, continuing this productive dialogue between Paris and Scandinavia.

The exhibition Utopian Bodies: Fashion Looks Forward, held at the Liljevalchs Konsthall art gallery in Stockholm from September 2015 to February 2016, highlighted a silhouette from the spring-summer 2013 haute couture show conceived by Raf Simons. Exploring fashion as a vehicle for ideals and possible futures, this event recalls how much Dior style transcends borders and resonates with cultures around the world.

Today, in the heart of Stockholm, the opening of the first Dior boutique in Sweden – once again – seals the loyal friendship binding the House and this Scandinavian country.
