ABOUT THE LIMITED EDITION SNEAKERS (1)

As a celebration of ingenuity and creative passion, Dior unveils connected sneakers. The fruit of virtuoso savoir-faire, each model is numbered and available in a limited edition. Uniting Dior heritage with the inspirations of Kim Jones – Artistic Director of men's lines – they are sublimated with entrancing nuances and materials from collection to collection.

Reflecting the House's innovative spirit, these pieces give access to a Digital Product Passport including a certificate of authenticity, via a private platform the numeric key to which is the NFC chip in the sole of the right-foot shoe. In this exclusive space, the user can benefit from additional information on the different stages of the manufacturing process and be among the first notified of future launches. Thus, Dior operates like a laboratory in constant motion, deploying a collaborative intelligence in search of unprecedented fields of possibility.

A unique experience, perpetuating the art of detail and excellence so dear to the founding-couturier.

ABOUT THE ENCRYPTED KEY (1)

HOW TO READ YOUR ENCRYPTED KEY (NFC CHIP):

A. Apple [Apple NFC: Near Field Communication]

i. Where is the NFC sensor located?

For newer iPhones, you may need to tilt your phone to the reader, so the top part of the phone is facing the reader. Pointing your phone straight at the reader, similar to how you would point a remote at a TV.

For older iPhones, the NFC sensor is generally on the back of the phone, either in the center, lower or upper portions. It may take a bit of experimenting to see which angle works best for your phone. If you have used Apple Pay, the same angles you use to pay should work for the Hotspot NFC tags.

ii. NFC Tag Reader Supported iPhones

  • iPhone 7 and 7 Plus

  • iPhone 8 and 8 Plus

  • iPhone X

  • iPhone XR
