Les Récoltes Majeures
A special Dior event
This year, Les Récoltes Majeures are celebrating a trio of fragrances created by Francis Kurkdjian and dedicated to lily-of-the-valley, rose and jasmine respectively. The caps of these exclusive creations are reinvented with each new edition thanks to the exceptional savoir-faire of talented artisans.
Designed by artist Marie Barthès, the bottles are now adorned with leather caps that transform them into veritable works of art.
Exceptional savoir-faire
A leather sculpture designed by artist Marie Barthès
French artist Marie Barthès, known for her surprising leather sculptures inspired by nature, combines her expertise in leatherworking techniques with contemporary inspiration. This elegant and incredibly delicate handmade lambskin cap features a rose lined and amplified by a precise and careful technique and crowned with a golden bead.
The rose, the iconic Dior flower
For Christian Dior, who had fond memories of the flower from his childhood garden, roses became a true passion and an intense source of creative inspiration.
With this Récolte Majeure, Francis Kurkdjian wanted to convey a 'real' rose in a soliflore that captures all its honeyed sweetness and fruity, spicy beauty. A sovereign, green and vivid rose, just how it smelled to Christian Dior on his land.
