De belangrijkste items uit de nieuwe collectie zijn een voorbeeld van de knowhow van Dior en vormen een creatieve dialoog tussen traditie en innovatie.

The Set

De showruimte voor de Summer 2026-show is gebaseerd op het met fluweel beklede interieur van de Berlijnse Gemäldegalerie. Aan de muren hangen twee bescheiden, maar prachtige schilderijen van Jean Siméon Chardin (1699-1779). In een tijd waarin kunst vaak draaide om overdaad en spektakel, had Chardin respect voor het alledaagse en verruilde hij grandeur voor oprechtheid en empathie.
