Its mission: to improve the health, safety and opportunities of young people, particularly young women, in South Africa. Some go into teaching, others into film, science or social development; all embody a positive vision of South Africa’s future. The House’s investment goes beyond academic support: it is helping to build a network of young leaders who are bearers of hope and change, in keeping with the belief that education and equal opportunity are instrumental in driving progress. The programme not only provides financial support, but also individual coaching, mentoring via StudyTrust, and leadership training opportunities. Thanks to the multi-year support, the programme has been able to: Grâce au soutien pluriannuel de la Maison, le programme a pu : Support 20 young Scholars between 2021 and 2024, including several directly through Parfums Christian Dior. Celebrate the first graduates in a variety of fields: teaching, health sciences, business, film and media. Organise an annual Leadership Summit, a highlight where Scholars and alumni can come together to strengthen their skills, share their projects and create a close-knit community. These local initiatives reflect the programme’s ambition: to train young people to become changemakers.
