For the Dior Fall 2023 show – presented on March 30 in Mumbai – Maria Grazia Chiuri is once again collaborating with Chanakya to thus unveil a monumental installation, inspired by the traditional Indian toran: a virtuoso piece of nearly eight meters high, conceived by the artisans under the direction of Karishma Swali (Artistic Director of Chanakya). A poetic representation expressing the power of the community, but also the passionate dialogue to spotight the excellence of Indian artisanship that has united Maria Grazia Chiuri and Chanakya for the last 30 years.

On the occasion of the Dior Fall 2023 show, the House is celebrating the impressive diversity of Indian savoir-faire of excellence. A homage to the virtuosity of the regional artisans and the pluralistic beauty of the art of embroidery.
